Q: What types of videos can be produced?
A: The more common types of Celebrate Life Videos are tribute videos
for funeral service, birthdays, anniversaries and other special
occasions. Extended family documentaries are very popular as are
custom developed business products, however there is nothing
limiting the type of video to be produced – basically, whatever you
can think of can be created and customized to exactly your wishes..
Q: I’m not very “Creative” but need a custom video, can you help
design it for me?
A: Absolutely! We have very talented producers who enjoy creating
unique videos just for you. However, we always keep our clients
involved and many express how enjoyable the process is. We do our
best to carefully listen to each client and ask questions that will
help ensure a quality final production.
Q: How long does it take to produce?
A: This is largely dependent on the type of production. For example;
a standard Celebrate Life video for a funeral service is placed in
production immediately to enable delivery before the service date.
This includes processing and completing within hours if necessary.
(Must be a Partner for this service) However, a family documentary
can be very involved and include interviews, film clips, etc., and
therefore requires much more planning and time. Please contact us
for more information.
Q: I only want to make one video for my parent’s anniversary; do I
have to become a Partner first before I can produce a video?
A: No. Anyone can create a Celebrate Life video and get the same
quality service as a Partner. You will, however, need to register
and become a member to use the secure online ordering and processing
system. Membership also allows you to use the many web only features
such as uploading your photos – eliminating shipping.
Q: How long will my video be?
A: The length of video is largely determined by the number of
elements (photos, etc.) included in the final video. For example; a
standard 25 photo program interspersed with live personal footage,
scenery or appropriate video elements runs approximately 6-7
minutes. Each video however, can be produced to fit any length
desired that your event may require.
Q: What if my photos aren't that good? Will you do any color
correction or re-touching of the photos?
A: Yes. Our technicians are trained to correct and retouch those
photos that have become faded, dirty or scratched by time or
handling – in fact, we do this for every photo used in a video. We
also offer extensive photo restoration for severely damaged images
as an additional service, including output to film. Quality
restoration does take time and needs to be taken into consideration
when placing your order as it could delay processing. Ask about
restoration when placing your order.
Q: How will you know what order to put the photos in?
A: Whether you upload your photos to our secure server or send them
in via guaranteed courier, you arrange them in your preferred order.
Once you login as a member, you’ll have access to tips and
suggestions to help you easily complete your order.
Q: Do you supply a web link to watch the video on-line for those who
can't come to my event?
A: As part of our additional services, we offer all Members and
Partners the option to include a streaming version of their
completed Celebrate Life video. This can be streamed from our
servers or uploaded to your website. Contact us for more
information.
Q: Can I order more copies later on?
A: Yes. We routinely keep archived copies of all completed
productions. You can order extra copies of your video, in any
format, any time following the completion of your production.
Q: As a Partner, can I make my own copies?
A: Yes. You will always have the option to make additional DVD’s
yourself at your facility thereby keeping costs low. But, if you
would rather not do this yourself or are unable for a period of
time, then we are always here to make your copies too. So, you have
the choice to do it yourself or have us do it for you.
